Paul Gagnon is currently a Consultant and Senior Advisor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), a joint collaboration between Imperial College, London and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His focus is on innovation with respect to the use of technology to advance the medical education paradigm. As Founding Director of the school’s E-Learning and IT Systems and Services, he architected and led the development and deployment of the first fully digitalized medical education ‘Learning Ecosystem' to support a blended Learning pedagogy - aka the 'Flipped Classroom'. He is currently a Co-PI with Associate Professor Nabil Zary, Acting Director , Medical Education Research and Scholarship, LKCMedicine and Founding Technical Director, Games for Health Innovations Centre (ALIVE). Paul and Nabil spearheaded an AI Research collaboration with IBM to extend the use of Watson and build the first Medical School Tutor.
