Alan Teng is the Head Project Resources Services division in PETRONAS ICT, and is responsible for the resourcing requirements for all ICT projects as well as practice development. Prior to his current role, he was the Head of Digital Innovation, Strategy & Architecture at PETRONAS Group ICT. Known for being strategically forward-looking and creatively collaborative, Alan has a keen interest in disruptive technologies and start up culture that enables digital innovation in the Enterprise. He believes in the future of a digital-technology driven PETRONAS and therefore passionately challenges conventions and offers support to ensure its success.
Alan has over 20 years ICT experience with a background in System Integration, Enterprise Architecture and Business Development. Alan is TOGAF 9.1 and COBIT 5 certified and he has also recently completed the Harvard Business School Executive Program for Competing on Business Analytics & Big Data.
Not one to miss the many pleasures of life, he balances work with creative hobbies such as portrait photography and videography and one of his most challenging assignment was to be the personal videographer for the Yang Dipertuan Agong while he was playing golf, during a company event.
Alan graduated with an honours degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
