Dr Suelette Dreyfus is a Lecturer in Melbourne University's School of Computing and Information Systems. She has academic expertise in digital privacy, cybersecurity, whistleblowing, and health informatics, where she currently has active research projects. A professional newspaper journalist by training before moving into academia, she co-wrote the first mainstream book about the computer underground in Australia. It has been turned into two films and translated into seven languages.
