Mohd Naim bin Mohd Ibrahim is Assistant Secretary, Information Technology Management,Ministry of Home Affairs. He has been involved in systems development and ensuring e-government initiative well executed at the ministry level. His current roles include design, implement, optimizing and migrating databases for several systems for the ministry and agency under it. As member of Ministry of Home Affairs Open Data Technical Committee, his contribution including identify datasets that are possible to be open to the public. He has been awarded as ‘Best Open Data Champion for 2016’ handed by Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia. Mohd Naim also is a committee of IEEE Region 10 Electronic Communications and Information Management, executive committee for Public Sector System Analyst Association (PERJASA), webmaster for Putrajaya Professional Cooperation Berhad (KOPROJAYA) and webmaster for IEEE Malaysia Section and various conferences.
