Dr Lissa Rosdiana Noer, ST, MMT, Head of the Digital Business Undergraduate Programme, provided insights into the programme’s curriculum and objectives. She underscored that the programme’s foundation lies in developing students’ abilities to manage and design the digital economic transformation process within industries. This is achieved through four key pillars: functional management, digital systems and technology, business essentials, and digital business entrepreneurship and development. These pillars equip students with a holistic understanding of management, analysis, business fundamentals, and digital technology applications.

What sets the Digital Business Undergraduate Programme apart is its tailored curriculum responsive to student needs and industry requirements. The programme offers diverse courses focusing on various aspects of digital technology, including digital systems introduction, UI/UX design, AI and IoT, and database systems. This comprehensive approach ensures that students are well-versed in the latest digital tools and technologies, preparing them for successful careers in the digital business landscape.

The programme’s emphasis on practical skills and industry relevance is further underscored by its focus on producing graduates with diverse capabilities. Graduates are expected to excel in designing digital marketing strategies, conducting data analysis, making informed decisions, developing products, and venturing into entrepreneurship. This multifaceted approach ensures that graduates are technically proficient and possess the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to thrive in a competitive digital business environment.

The launch event for the Digital Business Undergraduate Programme included a talk show titled “Design Your Future With Digital Business,” highlighting the programme’s innovative educational approach. It was announced that the programme will admit its first batch of students through an Independent Selection process for the 2024/2025 academic year, with a capacity of 50 seats. Additionally, the programme is poised to enhance student opportunities through collaborations with various foreign universities for double degree programmes. This global outlook reflects ITS’s commitment to providing students with a genuinely international and forward-thinking education in digital business.

The inauguration of the Digital Business Undergraduate Programme at ITS marks a significant milestone in the university’s journey towards digital transformation. By equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the digital economy, ITS prepares them for successful careers and contributes to Indonesia’s digital future. The programme’s innovative curriculum, industry-focused approach, and global outlook position it as a leader in digital business education, paving the way for a new generation of digital business leaders.
